Gold Fields Medical Scheme is an in-house scheme and is offered exclusively to Gold Fields' employees and continuation members. Its delivery model revolves around multi-disciplinary medical centres which provide day-to-day healthcare services and are situated in and around the mines.

They are also the focal point of healthcare management in all key areas such as Hospital Utilisation Management, Quality management, Pre-authorisation and Disease Management. The Medical Centres are staffed with Gold Fields Medical Scheme appointed staff including GP's, dentists and nurses.
